Description
Our classic, Number Fourteen, is a junmai ginjo namazake. Intended to be served locally, chilled, and enjoyed soon after the fermentation process ends. We use a blend of calrose and yamada nishiki rice milled to more than 60% and fermented cold and slow. The result is a fresh, crisp, light and aromatic sake with a dry finish.
Named Number Fourteenin honor of our Master Brewer Brandon’s fourteenth recipe while developing the Brooklyn Kura style in our first brewing lab.
TASTING NOTES:
Light bodied, delicate structure, soft aroma of flower and apple, notes of tropical fruit.
SUGGESTED PAIRINGS:
Pairs well with lighter dishes; fresh seafood like steamed halibut and raw oysters or an array of soft cheeses.
