Description
The most popular shochu in Japan made by sweet potato. It has aftertaste of both sweetness and bitterness in it.
This shochu is smoother and easier to drink and since there is no equivalent American spirit distilled with sweet potato, imo shochus tend to have stronger flavors than we're accustomed to from a clear spirit.
