KUROKAME shochu is an authentic honkaku shochu made from Koganesengan sweet potato, one of the most popular imo varietals in Kagoshima prefecture. The primary moromi (mash) is created with kuro koji (black koji) and is brewed inside ceramic pots called "kame."
