SHO CHIKU BAI REI JUNMAI DAIGINJO NIGORI

REI, or “Sound of Jewels,” is a sub-brand of Takara’s flagship Sho Chiku Bai brand. REI was renewed in 2017 and focuses on premium, daiginjo-type sake with food pairings in mind. The first product, REI Junmai DaiGinjo, is now joined by an exciting new addition – REI Junmai DaiGinjo Nigori!

Nigori (“unfiltered”) sake is a perennial favorite with consumers, and the brewers at Takara are the experts with this style. REI Junmai DaiGinjo Nigori (“REI Nigori”) is brewed from 50% polished Calrose Rice from the Sacramento Valley and, like REI Junmai DaiGinjo, exhibits a bright and lively character.
